Ever wanted a Wonder Woman Costume? DC Comics superheroine Wonder Woman was created and first appeared in All Star Comics back in 1941 by William Moultan Marston. She is a warrior princess of the Amazons, based on the Amazons of Greek mythology. Her mission is to bring love and peace into the world torn by the hatred of men. Wonder Woman’s super powers include: super agility, super strength, super speed, super stamina and flight. And animals get along with her too. Pretty cool, huh?
Let’s not forget Wonder Woman’s tools. She wears a gold tiara that serves as a projectile, bracelets that don’t break (in the Wonder Woman TV show, she often uses them to block flying bullets), and her Lasso of Truth. Anyone trapped in her lasso is forced to tell her the truth.
Being a product of the late ’70s, I often watched the Wonder Woman TV series starring sizzling beauty Lynda Carter (pictured left) which aired from 1975-1979. Old TV shows are funny to watch compared to TV shows now because of their silly sound effects, acting and what not. I always wondered, did Lynda ever get dizzy when she spun in circles to transform into Wonder Woman?

This is a great costume! Look no further for a Wonder Woman get up than this costume. Definitely invest in a fun pair of boots- the boot covers that come with the costume are lame and only take away from the overal look. Also, buy the Wonder Woman wig from this site- It is so volumptuous. This costume was a big hit, and my boys loved having a super hero mom for an afternoon!! It does run big. I am always a medium, but I ordered a small after reading reviews commenting on how big it ran. The top was still quite big, but without a zipper I couldn’t have squeezed my shoulders or hips into anything smaller.

Not to mention the royal blue long loin cloth that you will get. Plus, the officially licensed DC Comics Wonder Woman costume comes with leg guards and shoe covers to finish off the look. This Wonder Woman costume comes in X-small, small, medium, and large. It is made of polyester so you will need to spot clean it if it gets dirty.
